Half Round Strings are the Best!
Half-Round Experiment
How do the strings sound? They sound like bass strings. (I'm a hobbyist, not a professional.)
There is no string-squeak when I do slides. (Nice!)
If someone is used to round-wound strings and wanted to try flatwound or half-round, then I would recommend these strings.
However, I love flatwounds best.
