Toontrack’s Hybrid Harp EKX Expansion for EZkeys 2 is a multifaceted virtual instrument, boasting a harp, a nyckelharpa, two harmoniums, ocarinas, and a bowed glockenspiel. The harp is based on an iconic Style 23 harp — the most recognized harp in the world. A traditional Swedish nyckelharpa, also known as the keyed fiddle or keyed harp, produces a hurdy-gurdy-esque sound. You also get a pair of harmoniums, which are free-reed instruments with an antiquated design that predates the electric organ. You’ll find all kinds of eclectic uses for Hybrid Harp EKX’s ocarinas, an ancient wind instrument that resembles a vessel flute.
