Sweetwater said this was a certified fit for my Dingwall D-Roc Standard and it was just that. case in very well bulit with good heavy latches. It indeed does fit this bass perfectly

Overall nice case
Overall nice case. I got for my girlfriends BB 234.It is well made, bass fits nice and songe. The only downfall is it will not stand on it's edge. It has to be layed on side.No big deal for me.
Perfect fit
This Yamaha EB-HC hardshell case is a perfect fit for my Yamaha TRBX174EW. It is very well made. And I am happy to have a Yamaha case for my Yamaha bass
There are better hardshell cases
Yamaha makes some great instruments, but this hardshell case seems cheaply made. Other hardshell cases at a similar price point seem sturdier. I suspect that the clasps will need to be replaced at some point. It is fine for storing your instrument at home, but if I was a gigging musician, I'd be worried.
Yamaha EB-HC bass case
Very impressed with the quality for the money. I bought it for my Fender electric 12 string guitar and it fits great. My only complaint is that it only came with one key instead of the usual two.

Great Fit
I own several Yamaha BB basses and this case works perfectly. Bass is snug inside and has a flip top accessories section to put your tools, cloth, picks, etc.
Great case for my Yamaha Bass!
At the moment I only use Yamaha BB basses and all have their hardshell cases. I bought a used Yamaha BB bass that didn't come with a case so I bought one of these. It's a great fit for the BB bass and better made than some of the old school Yamaha hard cases. I totally recommend this bass case if you use Yamaha!
Won’t stand up
The case fits my Yamaha bass very well. It looks good and seems sturdy, but when I set it down it falls over flat. It has no feet on the end like all of my other cases, and the feet on the side aren't level enough to allow me to set it down.

Great Utility Case
I got this case for a Warwick "Thumb" bass after the handle broke on its gig bag. The instrument fits snugly in the well-padded interior, the latches close securely, the case feels well-balanced when carried, and stands well without leaning when set down. Outstanding "bang for the buck". The excellent Sweetwater service makes it an even better deal.Rob
A Great case made for my guitar
This case is the perfect fit for my Yamaha TRBX bass. I couldn't ask for a better fit. It has plenty of room for storing necessities and it is even lock-able.
To top it all off, Sweetwater had it in my "hot little(?) hands in 3 days. Thank you Sweetwater.
Why pay more??
This case is excellent! I bought it for a new Fender Squire Jazz bass I just bought and I am glad I did. This case fits it perfectly and is sturdy as they come. Strong latches, handle, hinges and all round built very well. No need to pay hundreds for a case. GET THIS ONE!! And let me say thanks to Aaron and everybody at Sweetwater. They know how to run a music business and treat people right. Buy with confidence.
Decent Protection, but Slanted
The case seems sturdy and offers decent protection for Yamaha BB. However, the case stands slanted. One time when I placed the case on the side, just a slight touch made the bass tumble over. I wonder how QA did not see this as an issue.
Don't use for five strings
This is a nice, pretty case. It does not support the bass inside. the neck slot is very wide and allows the bass to slide around. When the case is in the carry position, the head-stock will rest at the bottom pf the case. If there are tuners on both sides of the head (like a Gibson and most 5 strings), it will be sitting on a tuner key. That's the support point. Not good. Not good. Look elsewhere and do not buy this.
Fine for four string Fenders with the keys on the top side of the head. At least the neck won't be supported by a tuner key. But still near zero support.
