Isn't this the standard?

We have an older lady Deacon who needs to microphone to read the Gospel lesson and has a terrible time with projection. She simply doesn't! The Countryman E6...I just ordered her a replacement for one she managed to break. (No, I don't know how.)

This obviously controls the distance from her noise making orifice to the microphone which helps keep things on an even keel in our system which is auto-mixed with no operator. It lives in a locked closet, actually.

I have used the Countryman E6 products for years and applaud them. Just FYI: There is NO substitute!

The only criticism is that for non-professional "wearers" they sometimes are a little loose and move around. With pros...not a problem in my experience. I'm thinking of flesh colored surgical tape.
