A Multipurpose Speaker with Ample Coverage

The QSC E110 PA speaker delivers top-tier sound reproduction. This trapezoidal, two-way speaker comes loaded with a 10-inch die-cast aluminum frame woofer and delivers abundant bass, thanks to frequency-shading topology. Interference is a non-issue, due to a well-tuned HF crossover transition. It will provide your entire audience with ample coverage via a 85-degree DMT waveguide and 1.75-inch compression driver. And if you use it as a wedge monitor, the E110 is angled up at a 55-degree angle, allowing it to be placed near the performer onstage. If you need a high-powered multipurpose speaker, the QSC E110 fits the bill.

The Real Deal

This is a great speaker, hands down. The sound is exactly what you'd expect from QSC. Its built very well, and is sturdy without being too heavy. The only downside I can think of is the lack of handles on the side of the cabinet. Without the side handles, its a little awkward to lift when flying on stand. Other than that minor inconvenience, this is an overall great speaker!

I started out with one and will definitely be purchasing another soon!

Good for just about anything

We got these speakers just a few days ago and have had the opportunity to use them a few times since then- they have the typical QSC quality you would expect that is present in the rest of the E Series line. We use speakers like this as mains for small PA, sometimes as additional speakers to cover a wide or long hall or area not in ear shot of the main system, as front/side fills, and other times as monitor wedges. I can tell these speakers will be a great option for all of these uses. Their subtle professional styling looks okay if it ends up in the background of a wedding photo (bride-approved speaker- score!). They are a 10" so don't expect a large amount of low end from them, but they have a tight mid range that sounds very nice when paired with a sub, although these do produce enough low-end to be used independently (however I wouldn't use them for more than spoken word or background music without a sub). They sound natural due to the wood enclosure (I would say these sound better than K series when EQed) They sound bright and clear but not harsh and the conical dispersion makes them suitable to be used vertically or horizontally and have the same coverage in either orientation. With a little bit of EQ (you may want to add some low-mid to fatten it up and scoop out some 5k or use a high shelf cut, it seems as though the compression driver out powers the LF driver) these will sound real nice for you. All the E series speakers are great products. If you put these over E118SWs you'll be real happy.
