Fat, warm, responsive, full; I could go on and on about the things that make this DW snare perfect and amazing. I also can't say anything else that hasn't already been said so well in the other reviews.

This is an amazing snare drum. You can get any sound out of this drum. The throw off is sweet the finish is beautiful happens to match my kit so even better!!! The snare cracks and pops and goes down deep tameable overtones. Wasn"t the hugest fan of the snare wires. They sound good but I guess I"m just used to hearing some puresound snares. So I swapped em out and

I have a collectors kit in this finish and have been hunting down a matching snare. Of course sweetwater has them in stock and I don't have to pay a fortune to order one. This snare has a warm sound with sensitivity crack and pop. It's not super loud but the rimshot cuts big time. I tuned it up high top and bottom. Took the bottom to a G# the pitch of shell is an A. Tuned top head up and down with ease but around a D-D# had some nice high crack to it with some overtones. The drum came tuned with reso around an E and top D and it sounded awesome it was low and warm and clean not to many overtones. I tuned it a little less on reso than my usual tuning it's an F and batter head is a D# and I find the snare to be very pleasing. It's not to high not to low with minimal snare buzz. This snare is very versatile I am very impressed. Thanks Drew for all your help. This was my first purchase from you guys came in 2 days no BS and was packed in 3 boxes so the drum was very safe. I highly recommend this snare not only because it goes with my drums but because it rocks

Could not be happier with this snare. Originally ordered the new Purpleheart but it was back ordered until March. As I needed a snare now, my sales tech, Jared Madigan suggested this snare. When I received, it was ready to go out of the box. I only had to make a few minor tuning adjustments and the sound is really nice. The three setting clutch is really cool. Very satisfied.
