Powerful-sounding Single-coil

The DiMarzio Injector single-coil neck electric guitar pickup is for the modern single-coil player who wants an aggressive and loud sound. But because of the Injector's construction it boasts a warmer and louder sound than a vintage-style single-coil pickup. Sweetwater players love how its low magnet pull lets you get the pickup close to the strings for maximum output. And the DiMarzio Injector single-coil neck electric guitar pickup is a noiseless design the will add power and low-end punch to your single-coil equipped guitar.

DiMarzio Injector Single-coil Neck Electric Guitar Pickup Features:
  • Powerful single-coil electric guitar pickup
  • Noiseless design eliminates 60-cycle hum
  • High output is great for driving amplifiers
  • Wiring: 4 Conductor
  • Magnet: Alnico 2
  • Output mV: 160
  • DC Resistance: 8.56 Kohm
The Injector single-coil sound modern and aggressive.

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Best of the best

This is my favorite pick up by far. It's a 'strong' pick up. It really responds well to anything you put through it. It has a nice Strat growl but without the muddy bottom. As a matter of fact, it's never muddy. It has clear tonality and a broad dynamics. Mine is in a HSS Strat in the neck position. Middle pick up is bypassed so it's paired with my Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell humbucker pick up. Ala Richie Blackmore. There is no gamble with this purchase. You will love it. Period.

Great-Sounding Pick-up

The DiMarzio Injector pick-up is in the great tradition of DiMarzio, as in the HS3 "Malmsteen" pick up but a little more beefy. Balanced, neither screechy nor "flabby," it distorts smoothly with overdrive. This is a great modern blues or rock pick up.

superb and underrated

I prefer this neck pick up over humbucking neck pick ups. Stacked humbucker is the way to go and can almost do it all. The dynamics and sound is very organic and it has an edge to it that compliments the articulation. Amazing for clear and clean-shredding. Just as excellent at blues and clean tones. An exceptional pick up.

Transformed my MIM Strat

These transformed my MIM Strat and are easily one of the top 5 best purchases I've made over the last 15 years. I have a loaded pick guard with Paul Gilbert's choice of pickups, which are DiMarzio DP422 (neck), DP419 (middle), and DP423 (bridge.) I tried these on a recommendation from another guitarist after I returned a set of Seymour Duncans (JBJR, L59, and JBJR.)

MY GOODNESS, THE TONE IS HUGE! My Strat just barks like crazy and still has the in-between quack that tonally (and totally) sets a Strat apart from other guitars. Clean and overdriven tones are a balanced blend of sweetness, warmth, and chime. If I kick on my Tubescreamer it is sonic bliss. My Strat sounds fantastic through both my amp heads (Blackstar HT20 and Friedman Runt 20) and speaker cabs (open back 1x12 w/Eminence Private Jack and closed back 1x12 Celestion Vintage 30.) They're quiet too, no 60hz hum, and give off awesome harmonics.

Give these a shot. If I ever bought a Strat that just didn't cut it in the pickup department I'd upgrade to these in a heart beat. Highly recommended!
