DiMarzio Quality in the P Pickup Arena!

Accurately reproduce the sound of your bass with added gain and punch with the DiMarzio Model P passive electric bass pickup. This hum-canceling design aims to get your tone to cut through the band without sacrificing your precious low end. As many Sweetwater bassists will tell you, the most important frequencies for punch and presence in a mix is a bass's mids. The Model P pickup gives you gutsy mid-range to provide growl when you really lay into it and push your bass hard. The Model P also pairs incredibly well with DiMarzio's J style pickups.

DiMarzio Model P Passive Electric Bass Pickup Features:
  • Hum-canceling, P-style bass pickup for clarity without loss of low end
  • Color: Black
  • Wiring: 4 Conductor
  • Magnet: Ceramic
  • Output mV: 163
  • DC Resistance: 11.54 Kohm

My favorite

These pickups are the best for hard rock in my opinion. They have great low end and are punchy and have an awesome mid-range growl. I love them. I put them in everything I use live.

Great Pickups!

I bought these to replace what was in an old Samick P. I also bought new pots to go along with it, and WOW! They sound great and are definitely noiseless. Completely changed how that bass sounded. These are worth a try!

little bass - big tone.

I have a handmade one-off 30" scale neck thru. The mid-section is 9distressed) oak, the outer wings are kauri (native to NZ)kkkkkkk

I stuffed the in all 3 of my P basses

I"ve tried a ton of different pickups over the years. Various SDs, Aguilar, Lindy Fralin, even Fender custom shops. I was ordering one of these pickups for a customer"s bass and through a stroke of destiny it came in the wrong color (cream). It was so inexpensive that I just kept it and threw it in my bass that I experiment with. HOLY ISH! These things rip! I now have them in all 3 of my P basses that I play live and constantly get compliments on how clear and punchy my bass tone is after every set I play.
