One massive flaw

First, the good...it does what its supposed to and it is the smallest such device on the market. But there's a massive and inexplicable design flaw here. The male XLR end is recessed rather than protruding. If it was protruding, like the male end of an XLR cable, you could plug this device directly into a female XLR input (mixer, amplifier, recorder, etc.). But you can't because its a recessed male end and thus it requires another cable or some kind of adaptor in the chain. Picture how nice it would be to plug your Hi-Z guitar into this DBBLOX via 1/4 inch cable (or wireless), then plug this device straight into a Lo-Z XLR input. But no, you have to use a second cable (XLR) or adapter, then run that into the female Lo-Z input.
I use wireless and had to buy a separate adapter which doubles the size of this unit and looks ridiculous hanging out of my mixer/amp. See photo.
It just doesn't make any sense and even if there is some benefit to having it recessed, why not make them both ways? I just don't get it. Two stars until they make a protruding male xlr verson of this.

Also of note: this device does not work with wireless. It must be used with a guitar cable in order to do the impedance conversion properly. That is likely true of all such devices.
