So I've just spent the better part of the day rewiring my studio racks- nothing was more frustrating than dealing with the absolute junk DB25 screw connections on these cables. Installing 8 total DB25 connections was a futile effort in patiences. 2 of the cables I was able to fight the screws in to make somewhat of a locking connection, the 6 others are worthless. My cheap Hosa cables had no issues- the screws stick out long enough to grab hold of the bolt and make a solid connection.
So the conundrum is slightly lower quality Hosa cables that stay in place or better quality cables that fall out in the middle of a session?
This review is for both male and female XLR connections.
