Waves Codex is a polyphonic wavetable soft synth that will shift your sound design into overdrive. Based on an advanced granular wavetable engine and Waves' Virtual Voltage technology, Codex lets you easily create sounds that range from organic acoustic and analog emulations to wonderfully rich, evolving textures. Codex comes with hundreds of killer presets, but you can also import your own audio files, transform them into wavetables, and tweak them to taste. Codex incorporates high-res FFT-based automatic interpolation that gives you creamy-smooth morphing as you sweep through wavetables. The design of the two oscillators, in concert with Codex's dynamic waveform display, lets you create insanely complex sounds with very simple settings. Start engaging the onboard modulators, effects, and the arpeggiator/sequencer, and you can whip up some seriously great patches. This virtual synth's subtractive synthesis component lets you effortlessly customize existing presets or build custom patches from scratch. LOVE ITTTTT

I love this plug in and I have 2 keyboards so I really didn't even need it. But after watching some tutorials and of Codex I was blown away and I had to have it. So far every beat I've created since I got it, I've use it the sounds are crazy. I can even loop my own edited sound render it into a wave form. Then put it back in my DAW (studio one pro) and then insert it in codex to trick it out. So if anybody is reading this review and you're thinking about getting it, especially if you can't play keyboard this plug in is very easy to use try it I promise you it will deliver.
