This Canyon Is Deeper Than Meets the Eye
The Electro-Harmonix Canyon Echo harvests the digital delay algorithm from the company's full-sized Canyon Delay & Looper pedal and packs it into a compact, pico-sized housing. This feature-rich stompbox gives you crystal-clear delay effects — up to three seconds worth — with low- and high-frequency filtering, tap tempo with three division modes, and feedback values ranging from one to infinite repeats. You also get selectable tails bypass, which enables your repeats to continue after you switch off the pedal. The EXH Canyon Echo is a deceptively simple digital delay pedal, yet it's deep enough to tackle any time-bending undertaking you send its way.

Intuitive top-panel controls
Dialing in the Canyon Echo is fast and easy. Its Blend knob controls your wet/dry mix; the Delay knob adjusts your delay time from eight milliseconds to three seconds; and the Feedback knob gives you everything from one repeat to infinite repeats. You also get a Filter knob that acts as a lowpass filter when it's set below noon and as a highpass filter when it's set past noon. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have coaxed the full gamut of delay effects out of the Canyon Echo, from doubling to slapback to endless delay washes and pads.
Tap tempo made easy
Navigating the Electro-Harmonix Canyon Echo's tap tempo feature is as intuitive as it gets. Simply press and release the pedal's footswitch as least twice, and its LED will flash to confirm your tempo setting. Once you've established your tempo, you can then use the top-panel Tap Div button to subdivide it from a quarter note to a dotted eighth note to an eighth note.
