One of Schlagwerk’s Urban OS models, the CP5210 Urban “Old Red “features a textured Gabon wood playing surface, a resonance box with eight layers of birch, and 2x2 snare strings that give it excellent snare and bass separation. Sweetwater drummers particularly praise the textured surface as it lends an enhanced contact surface that lends itself well to playing the “Old Red” with cajon brushes and rods.
