In one of his video streams I remember him saying he's using Bitwig because he cares about sound design. He was right.
I'm a beginner, but compared to other DAWs, it's clearly visible that the developers have a lot of attention to sound design. The Grid is awesome. Even if you're a beginner, no need to shy away if you're interested in sound design! Get Syntorial to learn a thing or two about synthesis and start using The Grid to experiment, it's fun!
Bigwig makes music production fun
I started producing with FL Studio, which always felt like a chore due to the multi-window approach. I tried Bitwig on a whim, and I haven't touched FL Studio since. Some folks will complain that Bitwig doesn't do xyz that another DAW does - and it may not - but likely, there is a better more creative alternative within the software. Both sequencers are powerful and creative, and the extensive modulation allows for exciting sound design possibilities.
Consistently Creative
I've been using Bitwig since version 1.3 and it's been consistently the software that has gotten out of my way the quickest when I'm being creative. Before Bitwig I was an Ableton Live user and before then an FL Studio user, and Bitwig's workflow and creative tools (like global modulation, pop up browsers, and voice stacking) have impressed me time and time again when I have an idea and want to execute it quickly.
