The Quilter Labs BlockDock 10TC is the perfect companion for your Block Series amp. This compact extension cabinet is loaded with a Celestion TF1018 speaker, which delivers top-notch sound. This workhorse cab offers 100 watts of power handling — sufficient for Quilter’s 101 Series amplifiers, including the 101 Mini Head and 101 Reverb. The BlockDock 10TC is built from rugged 15mm Baltic birch with a durable ballistic nylon cover and bulletproof bracing and reinforcement, yet it weighs in at a mere 16 lbs. It doesn’t get any lighter than this

Stating that the Quilter BlockDock 10TC is lightweight is a grand understatement. At 16 lbs., it’s so light that you and your grandmother could play catch with it — one-handed! There’s nothing lightweight about its build quality, however. Rugged 15mm Baltic birch construction. An aluminum retention plate. A durable ballistic nylon cover. This cab was clearly made for gigging.

Hoped for good, received FANTASTIC!

I've been playing over 30 years. I've played/owned some of the best amps around. I no longer gig but I spend many hours a week in my home studio making noise. A few years ago I bought a Quilter US 101 ampliphier and used it with a spare cab that I had laying around. I thought it sounded good.

Fast forward to a week ago. I sell off all amps above 10 watts. Two Friedman, both at 20 watts, Fender Deluxe Reverb, Vox AC 15 HW. All too big for a home studio. I keep my Tone King Gremlin , 4 Watts. I keep the QUILTER because it's a great pedal platform.

I buy the 10" speaker made for the Quilter and OMG!!! I know fantastic tones when I hear them and these are second to none. The cleans, the dirt, the WOW! If I had known the cabs Quilter designed for these amps were this good I would have bought one years ago. I bought the 10, only because my main use was going to be as an ambient pedal platform and I felt a 10" would avoid woofyness but this speaker can do anything and it does it well. Not harsh, not boomy. Nice and tight sounding.

Big Dog in a Little Pup’s Body

As with all things Quilter, conventions are broken and expectations exceeded. For some time, I've been plugging my Quilter 101 Mini Reverb head into an older 1 x 10 cabinet. It sounded great but I was ready for something even smaller and more portable. The BlockDock 10TC has been perfect. Though physically small and light, it sounds big, bold, and warm and it can produce a lot more volume than one would expect from such a diminutive box. If you're a Quilter fan and want a cabinet that's super easy to move around, check this one out.

Vox Superbeetle double stack

I recently purchased a Vox mini superbeetle amp. when I discovered that the amp would the output @ 4ohms I looked for another cabinet. I needed an 8ohm cab to reach my load.Not only the cab was the perfect size but also sounded great. Thanks to quilter I now have a double stack amp that really cranks.I couldn,t have asked for anything better!!

Well Built!

It’s a great little speaker and the angled back makes it highly usable for a guitar monitor for a head. I'm using it with a Rivera Mini RockRec that goes direct to the PA.
