Ranging from 4TB to 40TB, this dual-drive RAID behemoth is capable of 7200 rpm via Enterprise-class HDDs, with speeds up to 550MB/s. Its aluminum shell and intelligent fan enable it to sustain such performance without overheating or being heard while recording. The Blackbox Pro RAID is also highly flexible: it not only supports hardware RAID-0 for speed or RAID-1 for redundancy (as well as JBOD and SPAN), but it also has options for media card readers and a 10GB USB-A hub for an even more streamlined workflow. It ships ready for Mac but reformatting for Windows is easy, and it’s backed by Gylph’s industry-renown 3-2-1 warranty.
