An Excellent Lav for Media and More

The B3 omnidirectional lavalier microphone by Countryman is one of the best small-format microphones out there. It's just what you need for interviews, dramatic productions, broadcasts, and more. Small enough to disappear in clothing, the B3 still provides the sensitivity needed to clearly pick up your voice. A set of three interchangeable capsules allows you to select the B3's sensitivity, and both a black and a white clothing clip allow you to place the B3 wherever you like. An included windscreen and naturally low handling noise also keep your sound free of unwanted sound. This version of the B3 is outfitted with a TA4F connector and is compatible with Shure wireless bodypacks.

Top-notch lapel mic

We recently had to replace an aging generic mic that came with our wireless system. I was astounded at how incredibly better this one was. I always knew the Countryman brand to be respected, and now I know why. With almost no tweaking, we simply connected this mic up to the wireless pack, and the audio from our guest speakers at church now have the same fidelity as the senior pastor whose mic cost multiples of this one. Highly recommended.

Not just for lapels!

This mic is so great that I have to lock them up - they get stolen!
In 30+ years of live sound, this is likely the best, most versatile lav mic I've ever used. In addition to being a great lapel mic, I've put these on music stands for small string and woodwind quartets.
The low profile and omni pattern make the ideal for wedding parties. You can often get away with only mic-ing the officiant. If they're close enough, the pattern will pick up the bride and groom.
Nice frequency response, low noise, variable capsule covers to adjust high-end. Value-wise, this mic is the sweet spot of the Countryman line.
