Super Fast!

When I first got the Atom Pro drive, I performed some speed tests on it. I was puzzled to see that the write speed was not performing anywhere near the advertised spec. I decided to go through Glyph tech support, and ultimately sent the drive to them to test out. Glyph updated the firmware on the drive and this drastically increased its performance when I got it back. It's been a workhorse ever since running on my 2018 MacBook Pro.

Ultra fast external hard drive

Very impressed with the speed of this hard drive. Also very portable and works good with my MacBook. I use as my working drive for all of my audio projects and then archive my projects on a couple of older HDD glyphs I've had. File transfer speeds are noticeably a lot faster on the Atom Pro. So far I'm very happy I purchased this drive.

A wonderful drive so far :-)

I just purchased this a couple months ago to relocate my large sound libraries onto and I just now got around to doing that. There seems to be a problem with my Thunderbolt connection on my 2019 Mac... so i had to buy myself a USB adapter, but once I used the regular USB port, the SSD HD works like a charm! I guess I have to see what is wrong with my Thunderbolt ports. But, yes... this SSD drive is QUIET and keeps cool and seems very wonderful to me so far! I will probably get another one.
