Bass Boost for Sure! and LOUDER....SOOO... Happy...

well, this is my first review for Sweetwater, but I am a long-time customer... I had just recently purchased my first, what I would call professional Near Field monitors... Adam A7X... well I got my monitors, hooked them up and WOW...sort of... they sounded good, but not much bass...if you check this speaker's specs... they say 7" woofer...in actuality, the woofer speaker measures 6 3/4 across, but the actual moving part of the woofer is only 5 1/4" across... well what kind of bass could you get from a 5 1/4" woofer? I had them on a very sturdy desk type table... 80" wide x 40" deep.. basically this table doesn't move...heavy... then I set the speakers on some rubber pads for isolation.. I knew I needed something... well like I said, not much bass and so I started looking at some subwoofers to complete my system... I had heard about the isolation stands for speakers, so I thought, why not give them a try...I ordered these Isoacoustics Aperta 200 Isolation stands... they arrived.. I put them together, very simple, but the rubber sockets are tight so it takes a little muscle to get them together...( you can also adjust the angle slightly, I have them pointing up a little ) then I tried them out... WOW... WOW and more WOW... no BS hear...first off, Tons of bass.. but also, and it should be obvious, but I will say the speakers were now much louder and also the sound was tighter and cleaner... I could go on for a while but why... these things work and I don't need a sub-woofer after all... see my before and after photos...after I got these and realized how well they worked... I thought about it...in a pro recording studio, they always shock-mount high-quality microphones.. basically this is doing the same thing...a speaker is a microphone working in reverse.. it makes perfect sense..I highly recommend these... hope this helps if you are considering a pair...
