A-Type is good for the price

I installed this speaker in a Classic 30 tweed amp and it is great. Compliments the mid range heavy amp well and lets the highs and lows breath a bit more. For the price it is an excellent upgrade!

Celestion A type

wow I am blown away by these speakers! very smooth all through the speaker nice punchy mids, tight low end and the highs. I bought 4 for a Marshall 4x12 1960a I had the g12t-100's in it, I play metal, rock. I usually like the v30's but to me these are a lot smoother and fuller sounding, Thanks Ryan!

Chimey and mellow!

Everywhere I play, sound engineers tell me how little they have to do to the feed from the mic on my A-Type. It sounds so mellow and clear straight as it is.
Playing at home it just sounds so sweet, makes me want to play more!

a type

I just got one to compare to my celestion 70/80 and there is not much difference in tone. there is a little less bass and a little more treble bite.i was looking for more bass and less midrange but I guess i'll keep looking. but all in all it is a very good sounding speaker,just not the upgrade I am looking for.

HRD stock speaker

My new Hot Rod came with this speaker. I can't seem to get what I want from it. It sounds ok but flat and uninspired. I am looking to replace it but not sure yet. At only 50w it breaks up early.
