Great Tenor Uke from Lanikai

The Lanikai ACST-CET is a beautifully crafted cutaway tenor ukulele featuring a solid acacia top that delivers full, classic tenor uke tone. The ACST-CET features a wider nut for a slightly wider neck that makes playing the ACST-CET more comfortable. A gorgeous rosewood fingerboard offers great response as well, whether you're chording or playing lead. A NuBone nut and saddle also provide tonal support to the already tone-rich acacia body. Lanikai ACST-CET-Natrial

This was my first ukulele to play. Been playing guitar for 50 years, and have a lot of them. I know a good guitar from bad to not bad to good, but don"t know much about ukuleles. I can tell this ukulele is made well , sounds good, plays well on every fret. Intonation is right. Have to give it a 5 because I have nothing to complain about. Sweetwater had a Labor Day sale and had listed a Luna Sahara Spruce Concert for $60.00 less than other places on web. I ordered one. Haven"t got it yet, but I will have something to compare to to Lanikai even though the Luna was 1/3 the price. I spent more on the Lanikai because I have a good PA and wanted to plug in. One thing I am sure of is Sweetwater is the best online musical site.

One pocket, not two in gig bag

My previous review mentioned that the gig bag had 2 pockets. It has 1. The gig bag is nicely made and protects the instrument well.

Fine Tenor Uke

Beautiful, finely made instrument. Well crafted, every joint and bit expertly made. Frets are very nice too. I love the Fishman electronics; having a tuner on-board is SOOOO handy and convenient, and being able to plug-in isn't bad either. The solid top is rich sounding and projects well. The soft case that came with it is very well made too, and has two handy zippered pockets of good size for those accessories like extra strings etc. The wood and satin finish are lovely to look at. A very nice, easy to play Ukulele!
