Use to have connection issues, not anymore.

We're located next to an airport and have a cellphone tower built into our church, so bleedover and connection issues have plagued us. Our soundbooth is ~100ft from the stage and we use 10 ew100 wireless microphones for our singers and speakers. Using 6 of these antennas (3 for Ant A and 3 for Ant B) with other equipment we were able to link all of our receivers together and now have no dropped signals or bleedovers. Make sure you do the math calculation and keep your Ant A and B away from each other. We have ours seperated by 25ft.

Really helps IEM

Our band was having trouble keeping solid signal to our IEM system, (we have two different sets ups, one Sennheiser one Shure - 4 IEM total). We were dropping signals and having a very hard time. Bought this antenna on the recommendation of our exceptional Sweetwater Rep Dustin, and things have been 100% better. Set it up on an old mic stand, and things worked just like they were supposed to! Thank you Dustin and Sweetwater!

Very Effective

Church AV setup utilizes mostly Sennheiser product which includes the A1031-U antenna. We are creating a mobile setup for remote use and are incorporating this antenna. We know it works!

Great Range

We purchased two of these and a Directional antenna. We use the directional and an OMNI (This unit) one each for channel A and B on our EW500 receivers. This gives us the range on the directional but the Omni gives us the ability to move anywhere in the room, not just where the directional is pointing. We find the Omni almost has the rage of the directional, but not the ability to ignore transmissions from other directions like the directional. We then use the other Omni to transmit our IEMs so they work anywhere in the room. Using Antenna Combiners and Antenna Splitters allows us to run 5 receivers and 4 IEM transmitters from only 3 antennas. We placed a T on the top of a mic stand and connect the receiving directional antenna and the transmitting Omni antenna about 6 inches apart with no issues. Then the other Omni is on a second stand with a T sharing with the Wi-Fi base station we use to mix from iPads anywhere in the room. This set-up has worked flawlessly from small clubs to performing arts centers to arenas. The arena shows are real fun with hundreds of wireless systems in use for show, clear com, internal staff communications and TV microwave feeds. We have always been able to find clear frequencies and had flawless wireless during the show.

Great Omni

The range on this antenna is much better than I was expecting.
