Accessible Tube Tone

If you're after traditional '80s rock and metal tone, then Bugera designed the 6262 Infinium all-tube guitar amplifier head just for you. Clean/crunch and lead channels are really all you need to get the tone of the ages, but the 6262 Infinium gives you individual EQ sections, master reverb and presence controls for each channel, and high- and low-gain inputs to make sure you have what you need for dialing in your perfect tone. Variable impedance, a direct out for your sound engineer, and individual channel volume control means the Bugera 6262 Infinium all-tube guitar amplifier head may be the last you'll ever want to play.

Bugera 6262 Infinium All-tube Guitar Amplifier Head at a Glance:
  • Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone
  • Channels designed to give you classic rock tone
  • Features every guitar player needs
Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone

Sweetwater guitarists agree that there's no tone like tube tone. But we also know that the cost involved in owning and maintaining a tube guitar amplifier can be prohibitive. Solid-state amps have come a long way, but even the best amp model can't beat true tube tone, and Bugera's Infinium technology means no more compromising what you want. The Infinium circuit is designed to optimize the performance of your output tubes and distribute the load evenly between the tubes, giving you tonal integrity and reliability. By automatically adjusting current levels, aging tubes are compensated for and your tone retains that toasty, day one sound throughout its life. Tubes, by nature, do wear out and die, but when you play an Infinium amp, you'll never worry. This exclusive technology allows you to grab whatever replacement tube you have on hand and get back to playing - there's no matching necessary. In fact, now you can mix and match tubes to create your very own signature sound without the hassle and expense of buying matched pairs. And because Infinium is a bit like having your own guitar amp tech with you on every gig, you get up to 20 times more life out of your tubes. When it is time to change one out, you'll know exactly where to go, thanks to the life-monitoring LED readout that keeps you in the know about your amp's health. Only Bugera makes the joy of owning and playing a tube amplifier this accessible and easy!

Channels designed to give you classic rock tone

The 6262 Infinium exists to be your go-to rock amp. Fundamentally the same amp as Bugera's 6260 Infinium but with more midrange, you get tone like a super-lead amp and enough crunch to break a tooth on. Tweaking the channel gains gives you different flavors. For responsiveness from your attack and dynamics, turn up the clean gain to get that Texas clean, natural overdrive. If you need some grit just leave the clean gain up, kick it into crunch mode and settle in to familiar, classic rock rhythm tones. The lead channel gives you tons of harmonics and compression for articulate, sustaining solo tones. And with separate master volumes for both channels, you can easily switch from rhythm-clean to solo-lead with total volume control.

Features every guitar player needs

The 6262 Infinium would be awesome as it stands, but Bugera made sure to put options and features at your fingertips that make your playing experience second to none. You get an FX loop, reverb and presence controls on each channel, and if you need to feed the PA or other mixer or interface, there's also a line output. Variable impedance options make this all-tube guitar amplifier a great companion for almost any speaker cabinet, and, thanks to exceptional construction and components, you'll be rocking the handbuilt 6262 Infinium for years to come. They've even included the footswitch - this amp is a superb value!

Bugera 6262 Infinium All-tube Guitar Amplifier Head Features:
  • Handbuilt, 120-watt all-tube amplifier driven by 4 x 6L6 tubes for huge tone

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Sweetwater is awesome

I bought one of these because the one I have and reviewed on here before is older without infium tube technology. I got the new one and after 2 days I turned it on standby to use the bathroom and it went POP and kept blowing fuses. I called Sweetwater and they sent me a new one with a return slip to ups for the malfunctioning one immediately. No problem at all with the new one after a few weeks now and it sounds just as amazing as the older one so I'm very happy with the Amp and Sweetwater

6262 vs. 6505+

I bought the 6262 and I couldn't believe how good it sounded. It was everything I wanted. So I thought to myself, "if the 6262 sounds this amazing then the 6505+ has to sound THAT much better. Well, it does not. They are equal if not a slight advantage to the 6262. I spent close to $1000 on the Peavey when I had everything I needed with the Bugera.

Just great

My last review was a bit long whinded so in short I'll say just get it. Goes head to head with Mesa and other larger income amps. If it's good enough for me I'd just imagine you will not be disappointed

Go ahead and buy it before its gone

I have played fender amps for years and after looking at the 6 preamp tubes pushing 4 6l6's for the price I got one. A friend of mine had a 6505 peavey and this bugera is quite a bit better in my opinion (his as well which is why he plays a mesa boogie now) if you thought about this and are thinking just spend more for a more name brand model i suggest if you are to good a player for this amp you should be getting them for free with possibly your own model.

Amazed

I bought this amp about 5 months ago so it has had time to wear in. This amp has blown me away with how amazing it is. First off it is super loud I play in a prog band and I have never turned it up over 3 and when it was at like 2 and a half I was overpowering the drums.

The next thing about this amp is the tone the cleans are buttery and smooth and with the reverb(which also goes to 11) makes the clean channel sing. The crunch channel does all of your vintage tones really well it likes to have a tube screamer to push it a little though. And finally the LEAD channel not only does it sound amazing but it has so much gain that I run it at about 1 o'clock and it has enough gain to do something like suicide silence(if that's what your into)

In my opinion this is one amazing amp and for the price it's even more amazing if your looking for a metal amp that has great cleans look no further this is the amp for you.

On a side note sweet water is the best music company in the world they help u through all the steps of purchasing an amp
