The DPA d:screet CORE 6061 packs the incredible sound of DPA's award-winning 4060 series into a 3mm mic — that's 60% smaller than its predecessor. Ideal for very loud sources, the 6061 boasts a super-low noise floor and rock-solid SPL handling. The 6061 features a stainless-steel, PVD-coated housing that's resistant to high temperatures, impacts, and abrasions. Beyond that, it's water-resistant, hermetically sealed, and employs a dual gold-plated diaphragm. If you need a near-invisible lavalier mic that's tailor-made for field work, the d:screet CORE 6061 is a great choice.

Sub-miniature CORE technology
DPA's CORE technology delivers comparable performance to their 5mm mics, but packs it into a 3mm design. Rugged microphone design
Lav mics really take a beating out in the field, and DPA took this into account when they designed the d:screet CORE 6061. It's built from stainless steel and treated with a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating for increased durability. It's also IP58 certified, boasting a water-repellent nano-coating, hermetically sealed amplifier, and dual gold-plated diaphragm. That said, there's nothing utilitarian about the d:screet CORE 6061's attractive matte coating — the 6061 is a stunning, albeit unobtrusive, piece of tech.
