Great, durable, consistent pic!
I've been playing guitar for about 7 years now. I've started to play much more in the last year, currently playing about twice a week. I'm pretty much a strong strummer, I play a yamaha acoustic, (using D'Addario EJ17 Acoustic Guitar Strings (.013-.056)), but I play pretty quick-paced and quite hard sometimes, and this pick has been wonderful!! I like the stiffer .96 width, and it is just a "very easy pick for me to use," it glides across the strings, gives a consistent feel of contact with the strings, and it's very easy for me to grip - because of the "raised textured" portion in the middle of the pick. The pick is very durable too! I've used the same pick for about 6 months now, maybe a year, and the edges have started to wear down on it, so I bought a few new picks, same type, just as backups. Lord willing, I'll be playing for many more years. This is about the 1st point in time where I've noticed, since I'm using the SAME single pick for months at a time, that I can actually see the pic starting to wear down on the edges. I spoke with someone at a local guitar store and he said even though the pic is wearing down a bit, if you still like the sound, and I do, just keep using that used pic. But at some point I'll need a new pic, so I'm buying these now - really like this pic!!! I don't know yet if the worn-down nature of my current guitar pick will accelerate the degradation of my guitar strings, but I'll talk about that issue with other guitarist with more experience than me, and I'll simply grow as I go! Hope you enjoy your guitar playing!
Music background: Playing guitar more and more for the past 7 years, I play out a couple times a week.
Great tone with these picks...
Especially for blues, legato and varied rhythmic playing. Thanks to my sales associate Alan Finkbeiner.
The BMW of guitar picks
Precise, clear tone. Feel great in the hand and very easy to hold. They just glide off the strings. I've used the Dunlop Ultex picks for years, and those are great too, but the Primetones are a step up in quality for sure. Pricey, but worth it.

Once you try these you'll find it hard to go back to the those dull, clicky-sounding run-of-the-mill cheap picks.
