An Effective, Affordable Waterproof Case from SKB!

The SKB 3i-2317-14B-C waterproof 23" x 17" x 14" utility case is constructed of molded high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, with a gasketed water-tight/dust-tight design that's highly impact- and corrosion-resistant. The SKB 3i-2317-14B-C includes a continuous molded-in hinge, "trigger release" latch system, over-molded rubber grip handle for comfort, and an automatic ambient pressure equalization valve. Easily customized cubed foam is included. Sized to comply with airline regulations, the SKB 3i-2317-14B-C is made to go practically anywhere!

Great storage and transport case

This thing is awesome. The retractable handle, the modifiable foam pads contained inside, the heavy-duty construction, all the carrying handles, its reasonable weight, the five latches...THIS THING IS WONDERFUL! I store my T.C. Helicon Harmony GXT, Bose T1 Tone Match, Lehle 3 to 1, Line 6 wireless headset microphone system (and all of their respective power supplies), along with all of my cables and a 6 outlet power strip with 15 foot cord...AND I STILL HAVE ROOM TO SPARE! I plan on storing my DR-880 drum machine with pedals and power supply in it too. The foam padding is pretty easy to modify. Pre-cut (approx.) 1/2" squares can be cut out to suit the item you want to store. The price is a bit steep. But for this box, it's worth it. Andy Miller at Sweetwater told me about this series of SKB cases. I sat down and measured what I wanted to put in it and calculated what box size I needed (there are a bunch to choose from). THANKS FOR THE GUIDANCE, ANDY! If you have expensive and delicate equipment to store and transport, then this baby is worth the investment.

Built Like a Tank

This case is more than I anticipated. It's rock solid, has extra pre-cut foam, and the slide-out handle is a god-send. It was the perfect size for what I needed and I'll probably buy another one. It holds all of my mic cables (more than 20), power cords, laptop, mics, and Roland trigger module. Pretty much everything I need for the gig. A little pricey but you get what you paid for and in my opinion worth every penny. Let's see how long it'll hold up.

Great Case

Easy to set up, sturdy, rolls great. Some basic instructions or best practices for the foam would have been helpful, but we managed to figure it out pretty quick.
