Reviews

I have run the gamut from Thin to Heavy
Yup, I break my picks, but that does not stop me (unless the pick hooks to the string). But I don't break strings ... ever. I get long life out of my strings coz I don't spank the life out of them. I have better control picking and strumming. Thins allow you to hold the pick with less force (which at my age is a good thing). Ya, So ... Thins ... Ya heard it here first.

It's been my choice for close to 50 years.Good quality and I usually alway buy a gross at a time.Lost picks, borrowed and lost than my share.Alway good to have on hand.

These thins should be called point breaks picks
I have used Fender 351 Thins for over 50 years and know the product intimately. I bought a gross of these 4 months ago and want to tell you that they are the worst, poorest quality, Fender Thins, I have ever purchased. During a 4 hour pickin' I average breaking the point off the pick 3 to 4 times. These picks must have been manufactured in a 3rd world country because they JUST DON"T MEASURE UP to the consistent quality I have experienced with Fender branded Thin picks over the past 50 years of using them. I received a call from a Sweetwater rep thanking me for the order, which I much appreciated, When I told him the issue with the picks breaking, he didn't have much to say. I suggested he tell the Fender Rep about my issue, and I never heard a word back from him, or Fender. Buyer beware on this product. You will not be getting your moneys worth nor will you be able to do anything about it. Alan E. Beckworth, Musician from Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Poor and inconsistent quality
Fender sells 351 celluloid picks that are made in China as well as the USA. The USA ones are by far superior. The China made ones vary tremendously in thickness within the same bag and the sound isn't right either. Even the printing looks bad on the China made ones. The USA ones seem to be only for certain colors in 12 packs. I recently bought tortoiseshell brown and shell red 12-packs that were USA. The China ones are in certain colors, shell white and at least one other shell color, in 12 packs and it seems like all 144 count bags. The quality of the brown shell 144 pack was terrible. You have to look at what the package says and stick with the USA ones.
