They feel great, they sound great, and they last a very, very long time. When I play, I sweat like a Hooker on Coupon Night and I'm much too lazy to wipe my guitar down after every practice. (I mean, c'mon, who does that anyway?)
I seem to get 2-3 times the life from these Elixirs than I do my old Ernie Balls.

I switched to Elixir coated strings from D'Addario XL's as soon as I tried them. I have been playing for 52 years professionally and when I tried the Optiweb I liked them even better as they feel silkier. In fact I had an unused set of Nanowebs lying around after the first try of the Opti's and they felt "dirty" somehow, not silky like a brand new set, yet they were the same strings I used for at least 15 years previously. I use custom light .09-.46

As always, I deal with Sweetwater for the excellent customer service.

These are great. I put them on my Les Paul Tribute, and they are perfect. Sound great, feel better than other Elixir types, and have a great lifespan.They've been on it for a couple of months, and still sound wonderful. Tried Cleartone and D'addario EXPs, and wasn't happy at all with the EXP. Get these and be amazed at how good they are.
