Fantastic product, not for everyone

This pickguard delivers everything I expected from looking at pictures of actual 50's Strats with this kind of pickguard.
Pros: it's gorgeous; it makes my guitar sound more open and sustain better acoustically (maybe the added weight and rigidity?); it does a great job at shielding if installed correctly (the aluminum is intentionally exposed where the ground connections are made to the pots.) Cons: if you anchor your picking hand (like in Gypsy picking) the brushed aluminum will file down your nails to the flesh. It's an easy fix though, if you add a clear plastic film on top of the pickguard.

Stunning and solid

The mint green single ply that came on my 57R was starting to peel a bit, so thought I'd go full on 57. This anodized pic guard fit perfectly, and I get compliments all the time. Beautiful on my tobacco sunburst. Sure it'd be beautiful on any Strat. Pic attached.

No noise at all, maybe I put it on a noiseless pickups. Good fit and nice new look on my blackie, now goldie.

These not only look great, with proper grounding it can actually IMPROVE the sound of the otherwise noisy classic SC pups!
