Much More Than a Mere Delay Effect
Objeq Delay combines an acoustic filter and delay effect, allowing you to blend compelling sonic textures with complex rhythmic patterns. Along with simple echoes, you can create modulator-type effects, drum track layering, one-shot re-crafting, dynamic loop mangling, drones, and more. Benefit from real-time control over any parameter via DAW automation. Edit with unlimited undo/redo capability. Objeq Delay employs Applied Acoustics Systems' acclaimed physical modeling technology, supplying you with negligible memory utilization and on-the-fly tweakability. Beyond that, Objeq Delay features presets from revered sound designers Richard Devine and Martin Walker. What kinds of sounds will you create with Objeq Delay?

Unorthodox acoustic resonators create compelling sonic textures
To say that Objeq Delay's filtering options are unique is an understatement. When your signal passes through this plug-in's Object module, it's processed through unorthodox acoustic resonators like drumheads, strings, plates, and bars, allowing you to alter the sound's timbre in unconventional ways. You also get a traditional Filter module for standard sound shaping. When we gave Objeq Delay a test run here at Sweetwater, we were blown away by the exciting new sounds we were able to produce with it.
Transform your tracks into captivating new sounds
There's no limit to what you can do with Objeq Delay. Its Delay module supplies everything from slap delays to spaced-out echoes. Its comprehensive LFO module delivers chorus, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, and auto-filter modulation effects. Mangle rhythmic loops with the Object module then pass them through the Delay module to create complex and intricate new beats. Transform a kick drum by adding boom decays or snap attacks in skin, plastic, wood, or metal flavors. Or give a snare drum additional weight and body, along with an acoustic ring or a snappier attack. You can also crank up the resonance and modulation to create ever-evolving drones.
Modeling technology for efficient processing
You won't find any sampling or convolution algorithms under Objeq Delay's hood. Instead, it's based entirely on Applied Acoustics Systems' physical modeling technology. Physical modeling is a sound synthesis technique based on models of a musical instrument or effect processor's actual sound production mechanism. This technology generates sound by reproducing how the real device actually functions. What's this mean for you? For starters, Objeq Delay is lightweight, installing in less than a minute and using less than 14MB of hard drive space. It also loads presets instantaneously and uses very little of your computer's memory. Beyond that, it processes sound on the fly, allowing you to tweak parameters in real-time.
