Great product and exceeded all my expectations. Make sure you get Pro and not GOII. SO much power and tech in a small package. I am using these to record multiple tracks from a mixer board for live music going into my GoPro recording video. WOrks flawlessly. Db adjustment and also gain for Hot input are all there. And Jon Mostocato called a week after purchase to check on me. THis is why Sweetwater is first choice for all music and tech needs. Thanks A+++++++++

I wish I could connect to a phone without the receiver … the app offer that connection but this do not support that

Purchased the RODE Pro wireless on the recommendation of a relative who had been using. Lots of options for use. I plan to use for personal audio capture and at various professional events involving speakers. The float option for audio setting is a real game changer. Haven't used much so far as I'm still getting to know the system and use options. The online info is great to get started too, but I often use my rep at Sweetwater, Pat Weaver. He's been able to answer questions or he'll find the answers for me. Whether you are capturing audio for cameras, live speaking events, or whatever, this kit is a great solution to get started.

Easy to use.

I've used many lapel mic systems. Some work well, but still are prone to unpredictable feedback.
The Rode Wireless Pro system is a good performer that can be depended on, and is at a good price point.
Pairing and re-pairing is quick, and signal strength is quite good, along with good sound.
This was a worthwhile purchase for my client, and they are happy campers.

1/2 a star taken off because of 2 things:
1. I wish you could split both transmitters coming into the receiver into independent channels into a mixer.
This would allow volumes to be set for both lapel mics instead of one level for both people. Some speak more quietly
2. Output from the receiver is 3.5mm. But input in the RodeCaster Pro2 is combo XLR / 1/4" This requires a 3.5 to 1/4" adapter to get the signal into the mixer. This is just a $ annoyance to purchase the adapter. Still, with the limitation of #1, it's a drawback.

Summary: Even with the 2 rather small limitations, it is a good buy and I recommend it.
Plus, pre-sale support from Sweetwater's Paul Kohen was great.

Everything about this has been exceptional. It's the perfect audio capture for barebones productions and "one man band" video creators. The wireless function has been great so far, no dropouts, and the internal record/capture is a nice backup feature that has me feeling extra secure. Haven't used time code yet to comment on that. Love the 32-bit float, the option to use w mics or just the recorder, the rechargeable packs w the battery case, and the built in memory - no more lost micro SD cards or constantly replacing AAA batteries. None of the so-called "competing" products from other companies even come close to the value in this little kit. Sure, it's not gonna top something from lectrosonics or other high end gear - but if you can afford that stuff for a production, you can also just afford to hire a dedicated sound op, etc. For more shoestring things, this is as close to perfect as I can imagine.

The Local recording in the TX Devices is excellent. File formats are customizable export for Bit Rate and LUF level. It is simple to use. One of my favorite features is the ability to set the buttons to do almost nothing. I am taking the talent out of the control loop. The Talent should not have to worry about it. I use it to record sermons at church. I have minimal post-production.

I use these for video production, capturing live theatre performances. I thought these would be ideal after reading the specs. The 32 bit on-board recording is a dream because I fly these over the stage in the lighting grid, and can't monitor them directly. However, the lavs have taken a step back from previous versions due to their new side-address capsule. Granted, my use-case scenario is not typical, as the lavs hang straight down from the transmitter. Hanging upside down, the side-address only captures half of what I need. I'll have to use my older top-address lavs for my theatre work.
