A Pristine-sounding Harp Library
Bottling two virtuoso harpists captured on one incredibly well-treated soundstage, Sweetwater composers are singing the praises of the angelic sounds contained within Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron-ized Harps VI. The samples from the first harp were played by internationally renowned harpist Ruth Rojahn and feature a plethora of arpeggios and glissandos in many scales and tempos, plus single notes being performed in numerous styles. The equally adept Julia Reth performed the second harp’s samples, featuring single notes played with fingernails, damped notes, harmonics, pedal glissandos, and more. These two maestros’ performances — spanning over 9,000 samples in this collection — were re-edited and optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player and are all easy to find via the Synchron Player’s color-coded structure. Rounding out the Synchron-ized Harps VI library are mixer presets of the Synchron Player’s convolution reverb that give you accurate close, classic, and distant settings as well as dry unprocessed options for shaping the samples however you’d like.
