Vertex Effects Pedalboard Buffer Interface
Vertex Effects Pedalboard Buffer Interface Reviews
Every guitarist at Sweetwater knows what it's like to try and track down that elusive perfect guitar and amp tone combination. When you do find it, that's why preserving your sound in your effects chain should be a priority, which is where Vertex Effects comes into play. Their Pedalboard Buffer Interface is your ideal solution for drastically reducing capacitance across your board, preventing high-end loss and keeping your carefully crafted tone in the spotlight, no matter your pedal configuration. This versatile unit incorporates proper buffering with the most common pedalboard setups including: mono, stereo, 4-cable method (amp with FX loop), 5-cable method (stereo amps with FX loops), wet/dry, and wet/dry/wet signals. Handcrafted by Vertex's devoted technicians in Lancaster, Calif., the Pedalboard Buffer Interface includes four total buffers. Rest assured: with this interface in tow, it will be easier than ever to outfit your pedalboard with a high-quality buffer that will keep your tone at the forefront.
No power indicator
Need to add a power LED
No line loss
keeps my signal and tone clean and strong even with 12+ pedals on my board.
From Mud to Thud!
I built my pedal board and added everything I needed that would fit. Individually or in 3s the pedals sounded great. However, with the long cable runs on the board alone +an extra 30ft from guitar to board to amp it became mud. The "Vertex Buffer" in mono mode restored the signal to full thud, shreds nicely now!
you didnt know you needed this, now you do
What a great idea, no more tone loss because of excessive cable runs or true bypass pedals, etc. This box takes care of all my pre amp pedals and my fx loop pedals, ensuring the strongest purest signal thru the whole thing. Can you do this with multiple buffers? yes but that's a mess, this is a simple clean effective solution. The buffer king!
Amazing
I love this thing. It's so integral to my pedalboard. It takes care of all the Ins and Outs of the pedalboard. I take the footswitch cable from the amp to the Send input and that connects to the footswitch. I take the Send from the amp's Effects Loop to the Guitar Input Buffer. The Ouput from the last overdrive goes into the L. Mono Output Buffer. Then I make a Stereo split from the last pedal in the Effects Loop; Left Output goes to the Return Buffer which hits the Effects Loop Return of the main Amp and the Right Output goes to the R. Stereo Output Buffer which hits the Effects Loop Return of the 2nd Amp. I then use a Polytune 3 for my Input Buffer. The Buffer Interface keeps the cabling organized in my pedalboard. It keeps your tone intact and I'm running 20+ pedals on my pedalboard.
Love it
Finally . Does what I need it to do clean tone no issues at all . Thank you sweet water and the rig doctor .
