Your Definitive Virtual Vintage Digital Keys Collection
Back in the 1980s when digital synths were new, many keyboards and modules focused on acoustic and electric piano sounds. Perhaps the most iconic of these was Roland's MKS-20 expander, which introduced the company's SAS (Structured/Adaptive Synthesis) sound engine. These instruments weren’t perfect, certainly not by modern standards — but it is their sonic quirks and lo-fi sound that make them so highly sought-after today. Now with UVI Key Suite Digital, you can dial up ten of these classic digital keys from the convenience of your DAW.

Old-school digital
Digital sampling has advanced tremendously since the '80s, making synths from the era technologically obsolete. But synthesists and composers at Sweetwater do love the sounds from those classics — and we use them frequently, so it's nice to have them on one convenient plug-in collection. There's just something about early digital samples that makes them unique — especially today. Old-school, a tad cheesy, and a far cry from today’s flawless sounds, but familiar and brimming with character, our favorite vintage digital modules from the ’80s and ’90s are alive and well in UVI Key Suite Digital.
