Most software is compatible with both Mac and Windows computers, but check to make sure.

If you're using Pro Tools, AAX plug-ins (or RTAS for older versions) are what you need. Most other Mac DAWs support AU plug-ins. VST is compatible with a number of Mac and Windows programs. Be sure you choose plug-ins that work with your DAW!

Loving it.

This is quickly becoming my "go-to" piece of gear with its plugins. The legacy plugins that were bundled with the unit are top-notch, and the Oxide Tape plugin that I added to the group is getting regular usage. Highly recommended.

Won't Add Any DSP to Console

If you are running a Solo, the number of DSP plug-ins you can use in Console is limited to the amount the Solo can give you. It will expand DSP usage in DAW's, but not in Console. I only use it for live online performances handled strictly by Console. I was hoping to have plenty of DSP space for reverbs, compressors, etc, but no dice. I have consulted numerous forums in which UAD people participate and they confirm this. UAD really needs to add this bit of info to their marketing. Now I have to return it. So 1 star because it can't do what I want, but 4 stars if you use it with your DAW, it is nice gear. I have this and an Octo for my Mac setup that I use for mixing, and it works great.
