A Solidbody Electric Guitar with Relish's Signature Pickup System
When Relish introduced their signature pickup swapping system, players around the world couldn't wait to get their hands on it. Unfortunately, the price tag associated with those high-end guitars was too high for many guitarists to justify. With the Trinity, Relish has found a way to offer their swappable pickup system to the masses. This solidbody workhorse features a basswood body, with open pickup cavities. Swapping pickups is easy! Just pull out a pickup and drop another in its place — no tools or soldering iron required. The Trinity ships with a pair of Relish XX humbucking pickups, but you can easily add to your collection by browsing the other Relish-ready pickups available at Sweetwater. With the Trinity, you can realize your dream of owning a Relish and see what the pickup swapping system is all about.

Patented pickup swapping system
Relish uses a patented pickup swapping system that enables you to drastically alter your axe's voice in a few seconds. Each pickup is completely removable and requires no specialized tools to do so. But how does this innovative technology work? Each pickup has plated contacts that transfer your signal without the need for soldering. The pickup is held in place by a pair of strong magnets located in the mounting hardware. And the Relish pickup swapping system is completely modular, which opens the door for some serious experimental potential. Need a P90 in the neck and a ripping humbucker in the bridge? You've got it. Want a single-coil in the bridge and a PAF in the neck? You're covered. Relish offers a variety of pickups to suit the needs of any guitar player including single coils, P90s, and PAFs. They also offer a selection of pickups from other manufacturers including Bare Knuckle and Seymour Duncan.
Let Sweetwater make you a custom pickup set
Dreaming of all the possibilities that a Relish guitar offers? Sweetwater can make it happen! We're the only Relish-authorized retailer that can mount pickups to fit Relish guitars. This means that you can custom-order an arsenal of your favorite pickups to use with your Relish guitar. Instead of lugging five guitars to your shows, you can buy more pickup sets and travel with a variety of hot-swappable tones in a single guitar case. As long as your favorite pickups are the size of a standard humbucker, our professional guitar techs can mount it for you! Be sure to call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for more information, as some pickups — such as single-coils — are not currently available with this kit.
Note: Empty pickup mounting kits can not be sold separately, as an unauthorized installation will void the kit's warranty.
Traditional solidbody feel
At first glance, the Trinity appears to be a standard solidbody electric guitar. It has a lightweight basswood body with sophisticated styling and a deep cutaway. The back of the body features a generous belly cut and open pickup cavities. To enable you to swap pickups at lightning speed, Relish left the backs of the pickups exposed. Why? Because adding a cover would slow you down! Now you can switch pickups in the heat of battle without worrying about losing a piece of your instrument. The Trinity feels great when it's on your shoulder, and you don't notice the open pickup cavities in the slightest. It feels no different than playing an old-school guitar that's missing the tremolo cavity cover.
Spectacular playability
Like all Relish guitars, the Trinity places quite a bit of emphasis on playability. For optimal neck stability, Relish starts with a piece of quartersawn Canadian maple. Then, the neck blank is carved into a Modern "C" profile with a scarf joint for the headstock. The neck is completed by a laurel fingerboard, 24 stainless steel frets, and a graphite nut. The familiar shape of the neck and smooth feel of the fingerboard are sure to make this your number one axe in record time.
