Fender Telecaster/Precision Bass Knurled Knobs Reviews

Genuine Fender Control Knobs for Telecaster and Precision Bass Guitars from 1951-Present

For repair, replacement, or restoration, there is no substitute for OEM parts. This is a set of two knurled flat-top chrome control knobs designed to fit the 1/4" solid-shaft potentiometers found on most US- and Mexico-made Telecaster and Precision Bass models manufactured from 1951–present. The knurled chrome finish provides visual appeal, is durable, and most importantly, ensures secure control under the lights.

Real Deal Chrome Plated Brass

By Sweetwater Customer

I purchased these to replace the knobs on my Squire Paranormal Telecaster. While they look exactly the same, the Squire version is very lightweight, possibly plastic and or aluminum. These are Brass plated with Chrome. Exactly as they should be.

Great addition to my P-Bass

By Doug R. from Duluth, GA

These are a great addition to the look and feel of my P-Bass. Really well constructed and better than I expected. Along with the pick guard and the vintage Fender P-Bass pickups they make it a lot of fun to play.

Great fix

By George R. from HOMESTEAD, FL

Put these nobs on my Schecter Nick Johnson and now the push pull is super easy and it looks great.
Perfect fix for any coil tap guitar.

Rough machining

By Jared H. from MADISONVILLE, KY

I purchased these to replace the knobs on my Schecter PT special. I replaced the tone pot to a much more usable taper and the original knob would no longer fit. These were relatively inexpensive, but compared to the original knobs they have much rougher machining, especially on the knurling. Compared to the Schecter knobs they appear and feel cheaper, which is somewhat surprising. They did fit and are fully functional, but I will be keeping an eye out when I visit music stores for a more polished replacement.

By Lee H. from Dayton, OH

I purchased these to go with a solderless quiet coil wiring harness and they fit perfectly.

Heavy Metal

By Dan E. from SELAH, WA

These knobs are not even what I expected.. every time I order knobs there is something about the item that ends up being other than expected.. this time is no different except for one thing.. the other than expected is awesome.. these knobs are bold and brawny and the size of your pot shafts won't make any difference because these knobs will fit and they are like show chrome on steroids.. heavy metal.. they anchor down with a screw and if your looking for an awesome set of knobs, these are the no nonsense real deal.. kinda like the first time you ever saw a Harley Davidson sort of real deal.. just get them.. you will know the difference as soon as you get the package.. never going back to plastic.. ever!!

Nice heavy quality

By Cameron

I went with these opposed to cheaper versions I found on Amazon because there were some iffy reviews on the quality of the metal. Glad I went this route just to get it done right the first time. Great quality, had to buy two packs for the 3rd knob but worth it. Awesome customer service and timely delivery.

Pricey but are what you want.

By Studio 1. from Kalamazoo, MI
Music Background: Recording Engineer

I purchased these as Tele replacements in the past and they are perfect for that. My recent purchase was to replace the knobs on my Fender Jazz bass (US) as I am not a fan of the standard knobs. If you wonder, yes, they fit the US and MIM models. You do have to buy to sets and have a spare, but they are great.
