Fender American Professional II Telecaster - Miami Blue with Maple Fingerboard
Fender American Professional II Telecaster - Miami Blue with Maple Fingerboard Reviews
Fender’s American Professional series produced some of the most popular instruments at Sweetwater among working musicians and discerning amateurs. Now, with the American Professional II series, Fender has upped the ante, outfitting the formidable line with a slew of player-centric upgrades. The Fender American Professional II Telecaster features Tim Shaw’s latest V-Mod Tele single-coils, which deliver familiar Tele twang with enhanced clarity and focus. To provide an exceptional playing experience, the American Professional II Telecaster boasts a Deep "C" profile neck with a satin finish and a contoured heel joint. A Tele is a must-have in any guitar collection, and they don’t get much finer than the Fender American Professional II Telecaster.
Turquoise Tele
The color is definitely more green in person so be ready for that. But this Tele is high class. Great, fast playing neck, and really feels quality in your hands. The frets are pretty tall, so if you like low frets this won't be for you. The bridge is my favorite design of all time. Sooooo comfortable under your palm and sustains for days. Pickups are just fine and not worth swapping unless you just have to have some boutique deal or noiseless pickups. This is as good as it gets, as far as production Teles. I can't imagine wanting anything more, unless you're more into the vintage thing. Just a great tele!
Just like I have dreamed of
This beauty plays and sounds amazing. Took me a long time to get this one but it was worth the wait.
Finally fulfilled my dream of owning a Telecaster!
This Telecaster guitar is absolutely beautiful and sounds & feels just as "Telecaster" as it looks. Clear and full of character. Exactly what I was hoping for. The upgraded fender case is solid and feels very protective.
The only downside (why I didn't give a full five-star) was that the high E string had barely any slack; it slipped during a bend on day two, and it was difficult to put it back since it's too short. I had to replace the high E string with a new one. But I appreciate other adjustments made by Sweetwater before shipping; it is indeed ready to play on arrival.
Just Perfect!
Buying this guitar was so refreshing. The finish is beautiful, and it played great right out of the box. Whatever Fender is doing in terms of quality control is working.
Beautiful Tele You'll Want to Keep Forever
The Miami Blue color is an eye catching color that stands out but not so much to be distracting or overly flashy. The guitar's build quality is top tier with nothing to complain about; it's great. It delivers the expected do-it-all Tele sounds as it should and has a good blend of both vintage and modern features. Shoutout to my Sweetwater SE, Daniel Neville, who provided great service.
Fantastic
Great guitar fantastic deal as always!
Top Notch All The Way Around!
I bought a Squire Telecaster a couple of years ago, and I really enjoyed playing it. I was playing more than my LP Jr and SG, and I wondered "why"?!?! Well, after that thought, I figured it was time to spoil myself and get an American made Tele, a true pro model. I am so very happy with my decision! This guitar makes me want to play n practice as much as possible! Incredible guitar, and the color, which I was on the fence about, is absolutely stunning in person. I added a bit of flair to the toggle switch and volume/tone controls...just because! If you are thinking about this guitar...quit thinking and start gettin'!!
Miami blue heaven
Nicest tele ever.
An amazing guitar for life!!!!
I recently got this guitar and I'm amazed that is playability beautiful tone, and craftsmanship and all around beauty.
Nothing short of amazing
I have had my first Tele for a few weeks now... and it is amazing. The neck is so nice to hold and it sounds the business and quickly became my Number One!The Miami Blue looks better in person and everything seems super solid. I MAY change out the tuning machines for locking or the Klusons... I don't what it is about them. I know the are upgrades, but they just don't feel as good as they could. I will, however, give them a good long try before I do a swap. Still, overall, the guitar was worth the upgrade from the MIMs.
First Telecaster!
This guitar plays and sounds better than I could have imagined. Once you pick it up you won't put it down.
Awesome guitar! great service!
Superb guitar
I love the playability of this guitar. I have only ever played through humbuckers and Gibsons, so I wanted a totally different sound. This really delivers! I've picked up and strummed some older 2010's American Standard Fenders in the past, and this one blows those out of the water. The neck feels amazing and played in! The tele tone is something else. My SG has been collecting dust since this one arrived. Totally different feel and sound! Would recommend.
Open the case and wow!
When this guitar arrived and I opened the case, it was a special moment. Absolutely beautiful. The guitar was already in tune and set up beautifully. Not a spot or smudge on it. Thanks for that Sweetwater.
As far as the guitar goes, I've barely put it down in 3 weeks. Amazing feel and sound. Classic Telecaster with some great touches. The smoothed cutaway lets you get into those higher frets easily. The rounded neck makes for a smoother touch. I love the versatility in the sound. The extra push feature on the tone knob offers another layer of tone. To me, this is the pinnacle of classic American Fenders.
Worth every penny
Best purchase I ever made. Sounds looks and feels amazing. 10/10 recommended
Surprisingly Good
This is my first non-Stratocaster style guitar. It plays pretty well. Good sounds from the VMods. It's got a few high frets that had to be worked around by adjusting the truss rod and the bridge string height. It's a little harder making clean sounding chords, maybe due to the short radius. Perhaps a Telecaster style guitar like this will make us better players.
