Expand your Overloud TH-U SuberCabinet capabilities with the Jensen Vintage Ceramic C8R IR library. In this library, you’ll find systematic and sonically sublime capture of a Vintage Series Jensen C8R Ceramic speaker. Created in conjunction with a Jensen product specialist, this IR library features two cabinet captures: a 1 x 8-inch open-back cab and a 2 x 8-inch closed-back cab, plus a slew of different mics and mic positions. It all adds up to a total of 1,152 IRs that exhibit solid, compact tones that sound just like some of the biggest tones ever put on tape. Those looking for a versatile studio tool will find it packed away in this massive library. Guitarists here at Sweetwater can’t get enough of the authentic playing experience the Jensen Vintage Ceramic C8R IR Library presents.

Original or remastered — it’s up to you!
To capture each IR, a specific microphone was set at four different horizontal positions, two distances, and two angles to make a total of 16 IRs for each. Also, in the Jensen Vintage Ceramic C8R Library, you can experiment with the original tones of the speaker or check out the remastered versions to achieve a top end tuned for more warmth and less prominence. The remastered version fits excellently in contemporary applications that involve high amounts of gain. You can ride that vintage wave to create classic tones or opt for a completely new tone — it’s all up to you!
