A Powerhouse DAW for Windows Users
MAGIX’s Samplitude has long been one of the most attractive Windows-only DAWs, and things have only improved with Samplitude Pro X8 Suite. New features include a revamped comping function that provides improved speed when cutting, arranging, and merging your takes. AudioWarp fixes timing issues at light speed. Multi-codec export allows you to finish your tracks in multiple formats with a single click. New organizational tools include Marker Track, which displays markers on multiple lines, and a new enhanced-color MIDI display. Of course, everything else Samplitude users have come to know is still present, like a redesigned Object Editor, ARA2 support, and the ability to copy tracks across entirely different projects. Sweetwater studio engineers particularly love Samplitude Pro X8 Suite’s ability to integrate external hardware effects as plug-ins! In short, Samplitude Pro X8 Suite from MAGIX is a Windows-only DAW with capabilities that rival any other software out there.

An impressive upgrade
The quality of life for Samplitude users has always been high, but Pro X8 Suite makes it downright luxurious. In addition to the aforementioned features, Samplitude Pro X8 Suite has a new Monitoring section that allows multiple monitoring paths with or without effects, as well as integrated talkback. The Tempo Track is now parked in its own lane to give you intuitive control over tempo and meter changes. A newly integrated resampling engine lets you work with any sample rate in your project, with support all the way up to 384kHz. Comparisonics and WaveColor use colors to depict waveforms, thus enabling you to identify noise and plosives before even hearing the track.
Highly tailorable to your workflow
Samplitude Pro X8 Suite includes a very customizable interface, including dark and light themes as well as renamable VST instruments, user-defined automation curves, a searchable plug-in browser (with drag-and-drop plug-in functionality), and automation lanes with sophisticated copy-and-paste capabilities.
