Made very well nice and thick padding fits my American made Stratocaster and has a nice big storage area for storing all your essentials.

2 feet back 5 stars. Two end sliding latches are so 60s era jap-junk I laughed all the while, tubing them, center latches better. Hinges align correctly, riveting here too hinders replacement. Plywood throughout great; (glue & joinery) were adequate? Inside fit is "tight". Final remark, it's pretty. Should suffice for general duty. For my Classic-Vibe, if I need 2 move, ok. For any instrument of more value, spring for hi-tier "SKB".

This Fender guitar case is excellent, the construction, fit, and finish is flawless. The perfect case for my Tele, the guitar fits this case perfectly. The interior storage is huge and being covered, things stay put. The hardware on the case is solid, alignment is dead on. I'm very happy with my choice of this case.

All my guitar playing fellow musicians with tweed guitar cases are Jealous of my new Blue case. It is high quality and looks beautiful.

This appears to be a Fender case, but it seems cheaply made over all and the latches are sub par. The latches are difficult to operate as if slightly misaligned and you're never quite certain they are secure. the lid also doesn't appear to close all the way.My strat is way too beautiful and expensive to rely on a case this weak. This case has the Fender logo on it, , l or Fender is now having their cases made in China. Bad outcome in either scenario. I have 5 other Fender cases, so I have "control units" to compare this case to. I have one that is 32 years old and it's much nicer than this one.

Well built, beautiful case. Great price and great customer service. Now if I could only find a hardshell case for my new Sire Larry Carlton TC I'd be thrilled. It's an inch longer than the Fender Tele and doesn't fit this case.....

This case is very nice! Great color and interior but sadly didn't fit the guitar I wanted to put in it. Reverse CBS headstock Strat was too big but its perfect for a regular right handed Strat so I will use it for another guitar! Super case and superb service from my sales Rep Jason Mathis! As always Sweetwater does it right!!!

Looks swell, my fender strat doesn't fit in the case. The headstock rests on the pad and the neck doesn't seat into the bracket pad...plus when I close the lid the lid doesn't line up with the latches. Sent it back for a replacement. We'll see if this made in China case works better on round two

It's a case. You put your guitar inside. (And it's reeeeeeally pretty)

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of this case. I recently purchased the Waylon Jennings case and it seems much better built. My other cases are Gator and they are solid.

The lid is EXTREMELY flimsy...thin to win. There are problems opening and closing the case. It's like the base and lid don't match up so well.

The only, and I stress ONLY, reason I am keeping this case is because I only plan to store my guitar in it. I suppose as long as the lid doesn't fall off, it will serve its purpose.

The takeaway: Looks aren't everything!

Very Attractive and well-built case. Exceeded my expectations. My Player Series Strat fits perfectly. I highly recommend this case.

Got this specifically for the Robert Cray Strat, and it fits perfectly, as will any other typical Strat. The blue covering with the brown ends is unique and great looking, so it is easily recognizable among other cases. Always a great experience dealing with Sweetwater too!

Bottom line it will work great.Looks good inside and out.Good hardware too.No real down side.
Sure you can get more by paying a lot more.But end result is this will last many years if not a lifetime.
I got one and it is fine indeed.

I have several Fender cases. They're all nice but this one is exceptional because of the color scheme. My son loves it and is going to get one too for his Strat!

I bought this for my new Fender Player Telecaster HH - Tidepool with Maple Fingerboard guitar. This case is gorgeous with a Navy Blue exterior and a plush goldish interior. It is a 3 ply wood case and very heavy duty. I wanted a sturdy case for my new telecaster and this one is definitely well built and sturdy. I paid over $ for the case, so it wasn't cheap, but believe me, it is worth it to protect such an awesome guitar as the one I just purchased. If you have a special Fender tele or strat, and need a great case, buy this one. You won't be sorry. By the way, there is lots of room for a strap and extras for storage in this case also.

Well made and appointed

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this case. I was looking for a case to fit my Robert Cray Fender Stratocaster and I wanted an original style Fender wood case. What you can't really see that well in the Sweetwater product pictures is that the trim wrap around the ends is an oxblood color and the latches and hardware are gold. The stitching has an an aged vintage look slightly yellowed and looks great. The feet, corners, latches are gold. The handle is the same oxblood color with aged stitching. The Fender logo is chrome silver and black. The trim piping on the end trim pieces is also gold. Inside the crushed velvet has plenty of thickness and cushions the guitar all around. On my Strat I had to kind of tuck it in because the padding is tight which I like because it keeps the guitar nice and secure. I was so impressed with this case I ordered another one. It's not a case that you would want to throw into airport baggage but it's plenty strong and secure enough to safely get your guitar around locally. It's actually so pretty I don't want to take it out to gig! I gave this case five stars because it was exactly what I wanted and more than I expected but not because it's the best case ever made. If you need a totally road worthy case then get an SKB, injection molded TSA type or an anvil case. But if you want a nice case for giging around town or storing your instrument I think you'll be happy with this Fender wood case.

I got this case because it's very well built and fits my Daphne Blue stratocaster perfectly. The blue color alows me to tell which guitar is in it. Sweetwater does a great job with customer service too.

I'm comparing this case to my 30 year old beat up Fender Tweed Case. The great quality is the same! New case is slightly different. It has storage compartment snap to keep it shut and metel protectors on the bottom of case. Love to have this case last another 30 yrs. Hardware on this case is top quality. I bought this case for my 30 yr. old Strat Plus and U.S. Fat Tele and it fits them both like a glove! Thanks to Sweetwater (Ben and Lucas) for keeping me informed while this case was on back order. Now if they can just come up with my Waza Boss Chorus Pedal (on B/O). Thanks guys.

I am so pleased with my new Navy Blue fender guitar case. I am using it to store my Sonic Blue Squier Modified Surf Stratocaster (appears to be no longer in production). That allows me to store my recently purchased Squier Esquier in my black fender case. The case locks and latch are top notch, they work extremely well.
