Came in in perfect condition, great looking case.

This case looks good overall, but a few manufacturing issues stood out. The materials themselves are solid, but the case doesn't fully seal when closed — there's a visible gap that allows humidity to escape and dry air to flow in. That's a concern if you're trying to protect your guitar in a controlled environment.

The first case I received had a broken lock; the key went in at an angle and wouldn't turn. Sweetwater handled the exchange quickly, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the replacement still isn't perfect. The edge latches don't align correctly, and the fit feels slightly off.
It's a stylish case with quality materials, but the consistency in manufacturing isn't where it should be.

It's a beautiful case with a compartment for accessories. It protects my granddaughter's prized Hello Kitty Stratocaster. I know that it's a bit of overkill for that guitar, but my granddaughter's happiness is worth it.

The case works well with a telecaster. It's exactly the correct dimensions.

The case was a good fit for my telecaster. Good case for home storage and light use to and from the studio.
Wouldn't recommend this case for gigs or travel. This case will not hold up in that type of invirment. Go with the Fender molded case for heavy traveling.
It will last for a long time compared to this wooden one.

Bought this for a 2023 Fender Player series Telecaster I recently bought used. This case is a perfect fit for this Tele. Well made, solid piece of gear. Look very classy with the Fender logo in chrome on the face. Very well padded inside and the storage compartment has a short strap to lock it down which I did not notice in the pictures; bonus. Plenty of room for the Tele, cables, strings, etc and shoutout to Ian Chamberlain for getting me hooked up quickly.

I needed a new case for some of my Fender guitars. This case sure fit the bill! It's well built and very sturdy. I was so impressed with it I decided to buy 2 of them. They fit my electrics exactly the way they needed to be, in doing so, they will protect my guitars for a very long time. I highly recommend this case for your Stratocaster or Telecaster style guitars. Shout out to Brian Lemert for his guidance once again in this purchase. After buying the case and comparing it with my G&G cases, it was hard for me to accept the lower quality, even though it was about $ less than a G&G case. Overall, it was pretty flimsy--the handle was weak, the wood was thin, the hardware was poor, and the interior, although pretty, had soft padding that is not firm enough for proper support. Considering the case is made in China, it should be priced at $. Similarly, the G&G case, which is made in the USA (I think), should only cost $. Both are overpriced.

I've been using the Fender standard hard shell cases since the early 90's and haven't had one fail me yet in keeping my guitar safe. From going to school, between classes, to a friends house, small road trips I've had several taken out but kept the guitar nice and safe.

High quality case by Fender. Looks classy and fits my Telecaster perfectly. Large storage bin provides plenty of space for cords, capos, strap, etc. Feels and looks very solid. Very happy with the purchase.

I have bought 2 identical fender guitar cases for Telecasters. Good sturdy cases. I have Been dealing with Ben Toenges for a few years. He is very knowledgeable about the gear, and completes the order immediately. I have had a great experience with Sweetwater.

Since I purchased this with a Squier Affinity Telecaster, it cost almost as much as the guitar. Seems a bit expensive for a case made in China. Having said that, it seems like a solid case and will look good while taking up space since the guitar will probably be either on a stand or hanging on the wall most of the time. :)

I just wanted to make sure any time I move it that I have protection for the guitar and this should do it big time. The finish and fit seem great. Everything is tight right now. If I needed a case for the road I might opt for the Gator style cases like my Jem came in.

For my purposes, this is a very nice case and I like it a lot.

When I got my first guitar, a 74 Strat, I also got a basic generic case along with it. But over time that case has been worn down by use so I decided to get a replacement. This one is the one I wanted because of its classic look and profile. A vintage guitar deserves a vintage-style case and this one does not disappoint. Sturdy and stylish at the same time.

I bought one of these standard Fender cases for my American Standard Stratocaster. The case itself is well enough built and solid enough, will house almost any solid bodied electric guitar but has one major flaw, which is when you pick up the case, the guitar moves around quite a bit inside it. I have been able to use it just being very careful when moving the guitar, but a case made by Fender for Fender guitars should probably secure the guitar quite a bit better, which is quite disappointing.

My second complaint is mostly preference. I would prefer the more compact round style cases that Fender used in the 90s and early 2000s. Not only did they secure the guitar, but they took up less space as well. While I prefer Fenders from 2008 or so and on greatly over what Fender was doing years prior, their cases are one area that has gone the other way.

Decent case for the money but certainly not comparable to Fender cases of the past. If you've been playing for a while the hardware and build quality are marginal. For the purposes of home/studio storage it'll do but I'll likely use an older case outside of the house.

Good value, attractive and pragmatic.

I purchased this case to fit a JA-90 Thinline Telecaster. The P90s stand quite a bit taller than standard pickups so the lid is a little snug around the body. Seems to be a well made case and should suit my purposes just fine.

If you are a touring musician who's gear gets chucked into the back of a truck every night by stoned roadies, you probably want something a little more bulletproof.

But if you are like me--and like pretty much every other guitar player on the planet--this is a great case for the money.

It looks nice, it holds my Strats and Teles snuggly, and seems secure. It is a perfectly good case for the weekend warrior.

Plus, it has a nice, vintage style, which I like very much. The whole case looks solid and reasonably well-made.

Before this, I checked out a few cases made by other manufacturers at the local music store, and none of them were this well-made for the price.

This case is sweet my Stratocaster fits well and secure plenty of compartment space also good quality and when opened my strat really pops

My personal Sales Engineer Ben K is always following up and talking to me the entire time via email. Sweetwater gets a 5 + ranking from me here! I would rank the case a 3.5 out of 5 stars. It will do the job on my Stratocaster for storage and movement to practice and to gigs that I need, but just not the quality that you fully expect from Fender with the China manufacturing. Some of the hardware (lock areas on both ends of the case ) are already loose. Screw in the back of the case seated crooked and partially sticking out. Fender Corporate needs to bring this work back to the States. I would have been willing to pay more for the US quality!

Got this for my custom Strat. It fits nice and snuggly and a bonus that it locks. Key & locking unit seem cheaply made but for what I need it's perfect. If you're looking for something to keep your Strat or Telecaster safe especially during a move I don't want to break the bank I would recommend this.

Geat case for the money, i have a fender mim strat and its a little tight im sure it will fit perfect after it breaks in. Looks and feels like a more expensive case

This case in very poorly constructed and will not even close correctly. The latches are misplaced and the overall build quality and fit/finish is on par with what I would expect for a Chinese knockoff but not a Fender product. Compared to a G&G case side by side it is a complete disappointment. Everything about the this case is a letdown.
