A Limited-edition Joe Bonamassa Collectible
The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1963 SG Custom was inspired by a rare, collectible solidbody electric guitar Joe ran across while on tour. Flaunting a one-of-a-kind combination of appointments, this limited-edition instrument is built around a 2-piece center-seam mahogany body. Its exceptionally comfortable 1-piece mahogany neck boasts a smooth neck joint contour and a fast-playing 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard. The Joe Bonamassa '63 SG Custom is equipped with three Epiphone ProBucker pickups for glorious PAF-era tones, along with a vintage-style Maestro Vibrola tailpiece for distinctive-sounding bends and warbles. You also get head-turning gold hardware, mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays, black Top Hat knobs, and Kluson Waffleback tuning machines. Customized playability
The Joe Bonamassa 1963 SG Custom is a solidbody electric guitar with a unique feel. Its 1-piece mahogany neck features a SlimTaper "C" shape, along with a contoured neck heel joint that's generally not found on a '63 Vibrola-equipped SG. This guitar's ebony fingerboard features an easy-playing 12-inch radius, and it's topped off with eye-catching single-ply binding and mother-of-pearl block inlays.

Gorgeous PAF tones
Three ProBucker humbuckers equip the Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1963 SG Custom for sweet cleans and decidedly classic lead and crunch tones. These pickups are made using Alnico II magnets — the same found in sought-after vintage PAF humbuckers — for rich, warm tone with crystalline highs and a tight bottom. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have discovered that with two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a toggle switch, the Joe Bonamassa '63 SG Custom enables you to dial in a diverse range of tone and attack as you hone your own style.
Vintage-style hardware
One of the most appealing elements of the Joe Bonamassa 1963 SG Custom is its gold vintage-style hardware, which includes Kluson Waffleback tuning machines, a LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge, and a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece. The Vibrola really sets this guitar apart, both visually and sonically, enabling expressive bends and warbles that sound markedly different from any other vibrato system.
