The Wood With a solid mahogany body and a mahogany neck, the PRS SE EG S/S/H has a sweet, full mid-range and a singing upper register. The Paul Reed Smith SE EG S/S/H neck has a 25" scale length mahogany 22 fret neck with rosewood fretboard, moon inlays, and a Wide Fat Carve. The Wide Fat neck on the SE EG S/S/H has the same nut width as the Wide Thin neck but has a big comfortable profile, similar to the PRS Regular neck. Because of its strength and longer "heel", the Wide Fat neck produces warm tones with lots of sustain.he SE EG now is available in a Single-Single-Hum version with a humbucker in the bridge position. Available in Black or White with a black pickguard and dome knobs. PRS Electronics The SE EG now is available in a Single-Single-Hum version with two single coil pickups in the neck and middle position, for that shimmering Strat sound and a humbucker in the bridge position. The PRS SE EG S/S/H comes with a 5-way rotary selector switch and dome knobs for volume and tone (or a three-way toggle on certain models), that allow you to switch from a screaming lead to a beautiful bluesy bass tone, or from a cutting lead to a clean, classic rhythm tone with a flick of your wrist. It's like having a whole array of guitars all in one instrument. PRS Guitars are easy to control. Three knobs are all it takes. PRS Patented Tremolo System Fast and efficient, the PRS Tremolo System includes a special low-friction nut, a low headstock angle, PRS non-locking tuning pegs, a PRS Custom Machined Bridge and a pop-in adjustable arm. The PRS Bridge pivots on a six point, hidden knife edge, allowing the bridge to return to it's original position every time. The saddles are held in a flush-fit pocket that prevents them from moving no matter how hard the arm is hit. In addition, the saddles are back-angled so you can feel the strings under your hand. Each part of the PRS Tremolo System works together to provide a successful, playable alternative to the usual pain of a locking system. The Finish Utilizing modern finishing technology, PRS has developed high-gloss finishes and stains that exquisitely highlight the color and grain of while retaining the fast, smooth feel of vintage lacquer.
