Standard Electric Hardshell Case with Plush Interior and Internal Storage Compartment for Reverend Electric Guitars - Black and White

Reverend's TKL Teardrop Guitar Case is constructed from a hand-laminated, multi-ply wood shell that creates a solid amount of protection when carrying or storing your guitar. The grip-molded handle facilitates comfortable transport of your Reverend instrument, while its Providence forge steel-plated locks and external hardware ensure extra security. The contoured interior is generously padded for more protection, and also offers a traditional neck support system. Sweetwater guitarists appreciate the internal storage compartment, which is handy for stowing your capo, tuner, slide, picks, and extra strings. The classic 2-tone design gives your case a black top and bottom with white sides, presenting a charming mid-century presentation to perfectly suit your Reverend axe. Finally, each case is thoroughly inspected before leaving Reverend's HQ, so you can rest assured you're getting the highest quality possible.

Its ok

By Larry G. from Austin TX
Music Background: Songwriter. Performer.

The case looks nice. But the workmanship is sloppy, which is disappointing considering the rather large price tag. You're far better off buying a Gator case. Just my opinion.

I got this hoping my strat would fit and it did.
Nice and compact, yet durable.
Exactly what I was looking for.
The 2 tone is cool too.

The Best Guitar Case I Have Ever Seen

By Mike G. from Roanoke, VA
Music Background: musician since 1965, bass player

I bought this case because of its shape; no unnecessary space, easy to pack in the equipment van. But I love it because of its high quality and good looks. From now on Reverend brand cases are the only ones I buy.

Nice and retro vibe

By Lyric K. from Tennessee
Music Background: Musician and Guitar Technician

Awesome case. Has a cool retro vibe and will work great for your Reverend guitar. Case does feel lighter and less substantial compared to Gibson and Fender but should have no issues holding up. I would definitely recommend. Made by TKL and made in Canada.

Too expensive/Not fitted

By Sweetwater Customer from OH

For what Reverend charges, they should have cases molded to each body shape. The cases look nice but up close you can tell where they went cheap. For comparison, a Gibson branded Les Paul case is $ less and MUCH NICER. Even my standard Gretsch Centerblock case is nicer and that was $ cheaper.

Fits great

By Chicago J. from Not even close
Music Background: Dark with spotlight

Expensive case…but you get what you pay for. Fits my Jenn Masner perfectly. Reverend guitars, like Fender and Gibson guitar deserves a nice case for protection. I didn't think I would care so much, but I do.

Nice case

By Sweetwater Customer

The Reverend standard teardrop two-tone guitar case is a nice case to hold your Reverend guitar. It was made by TKL in Canada. It it light weight and it's shape makes it a bit smaller than a rectangle style case. The case was designed to fit several models of Reverend guitars. It comes with an extra block of padding that you can use to wedge between your guitar and the side of the case to make it fit as snuggly as possible. I thought that was an interesting way to support different guitar body shapes. I can confirm that Strat and Tele style guitars will fit in this case too. I can also confirm that Jazzmaster and Les Paul guitars will NOT fit in this case. Jazzmasters are too long, and the body is too big. For Les Paul's, the back angle of the headstock is a problem, it would likely break the head stock. This is not a complaint against the case, it simply was not designed for Les Paul guitars.

More expensive than a Gibson?!

By Erik from Colorado

I bought this to protect a new Reverend Double Agent guitar (great guitar by the way). There weren't many other options so it was either this or a gig back. It's a cool design for a case and the quality is ok ( a few dings on the outside already), but where do they get off charging more for a case then Gibson or Fender!? Maybe it was just the one I got, but there was this loose/floating piece in the case and it makes the guitar not sit in there right. Maybe a defect? Either way, if you have a Reverend and need a case this might be your only option. You just have to pony up the $$ to get it.

Good sturdy, stylish case

By Perry D. from Farmingdale, NY

I am happy that I bought this retro-looking case for my Reverend Crosscut X. It is a well made case and looks really cool. I don't gig and hardly take my guitars anywhere so this is just a bonus for the guitar. Not sure how clean it would stay on the road but it is a cool case.

Excellent case but pricey

By Joseph L. from Maryville, TN
Music Background: 40 years guitar, 20+ years banjo

I like the case just fine. I think it's a bit too pricey, maybe because it's branded Reverend, naybe because it's wood and not fiberglass. Still it is a fine case and I like it very much. It is a well made case. I hope a Reverend guitar with a Reverend case will be work more thn a Reverend guitar with a XXX case if I ever sell it.

I can't recommend it over the alternative cases as I have not seen them.

I'm really loving my new Reverend Case. Fits my Reverend Warhawk perfectly and aesthetically is wicked cool. I've gotten so many "That's a cool case" remarks already. Keeping it Classy: The Reverend Story.
