Unveil
Keep reverb in check with Unveil. This brilliantly simple-to-use utility plug-in provides you with the kind of intelligent processing that defies conventional wisdom. Without being any kind of power user, Unveil lets you take a standard piece of audio and turn down (or totally eliminate) the reverb. It's that simple. Need to clean up your drums? Done. How about reducing the room sound in your dialog? No problem. But this same technology offers you some other remarkable possibilities too, allowing you to naturally enhance any recording or tighten up transients. However you use it, you'll love control you'll get with Unveil.
Features:
- An awesome way to remove reverb from your tracks to clear up your mix
- Perfect for musical elements or for controlling the ambience in dialog and sound effects
- Reverse the effect to boost natural room sound in recording that are too dry
- Also great for removing or boosting ambience in sound effects
- Add an extra dose of sonic rudeness to your otherwise too clean tracks
Unfilter
Unfilter is your quick and freakishly effective fix to all issues filter related in your audio. Whether you're trying to restore a file that's been poorly recorded or buff out a bad EQ job tragically committed to your audio, Unfilter is ready to come to your rescue. Without getting too technical, Unfilter scans your audio for damage and applies convolution (the same process use in high-end reverb engines) in reverse to fill in the gaps. That may sound strange in writing, but it sounds amazing in practice. And even with its extensive EQ capability, Unfilter is extremely easy to use.
Features:
- A mind-blowing audio restoration plug-in that automatically detect and remove resonances, equalization, roll-offs and the effects of comb filtering
- Ideal for music, location, dialog, and surveillance recording restoration
- Apply the measured filter response to other signals to place them in the same acoustic environment
- Export the measured filter response to or import it from a linear- or minimum-phase impulse response file (WAV)
- Mastering-grade adaptive, free-form, and graphic equalization onboard
- Extremely steep 96dB/octave shelving highpass filter lets you cut out low-frequency information
- Output limiter for unsupervised use in batch processing applications
- Built around a highly time-efficient workflow and extremely user-friendly UI
Unchirp
Lossy encoding, extreme processing, and other other FFT-based digital damage can leave your audio sounding chirpy and lifeless, with strange overtones that sound like bubbling water drowning out the details. These qualities are the kiss of death for recorded materials - or at least they were until Unchirp's artifact-removal plug-in hit the market. Even the ever-skeptical techs here at Sweetwater were blown away by Unchirp, the first time they got to hear it work its magic on a piece of dialog previously destroyed by overzealous noise reduction. We think you'll be just as impressed.
Features:
- The perfect way to fix audio rendered seemingly unusable by lossy or poor-quality encoding
- Specifically formulated to eliminate musical noise and high-frequency chirping
- Transient Synthesis augments or replaces smeared and over-compressed transients
- Psychoacoustic treble boost with Enhance and Excite modes fabricates lost high frequencies
- Frequency-dependent processing uses a Break-Point Curve Editor based to hone in on ranges
- Side-only algorithm mode lets you work with joint-stereo encoded material
- Oversampling provides increased quality processing far beyond the resolution of the material
- Sync parameter allows processing to be synchronized to signal transients for increasing clarity
- Output limiter for unsupervised use in batch processing applications.
- Highly time-efficient workflow and UI with copy/paste and preset options
