Really decent practice pad for the price!
The red side is best described as your typical rubber gum surface and has a medium bounce. Speaking of, I absolutely love the red color and the portability of this 6" pad. The black side is harder and behaves strangely. So with a higher stick height, I get less bounce but with a lower stick height such as performing a buzz roll, it bounces more. I would say the black side gives more rebound than the red overall. I love this Sweetwater exclusive and am glad I purchased it.
