Awesome Practice Pad
Love the pad. I have an Evan's Real Feel as well. Similar feel. However, I like the slightly larger size and the fact it is round. The raised edge is the real reason I bought this one. Being able to simulate rim shots and cross sticking is important to me. The pad is well made.
Extremely well made
Bought for my son and myself - both beginners - as a learning tool. Very well built, solid, and expect it to last a long time. I like the added rim to simulate rim shots and the red (for me) provides the right level of feedback/resistance/etc. I also like how it's reversible - the other side adds a different tone and feel which is nice. I watched a lot of videos before choosing the ProLogix and don't regret it. Would buy again without hesitation. (Check the color ratings to ensure you are getting the right resistance for whatever your outcome is)

The idea of dual density surface is amazing. The feel is absolut perfect. More realistic than most practice pads.

Best pad I ve ever had.
Great feeling, great sound, fits perfectly on a 14 inch snare. very comfortable, it makes you practice for hours.
Be careful though because a bit heavy so it requires a good snare stand.

I bought the 6" Red Storm first to check them out and was so impressed that I bought the 12" Red Storm and the 12" Blue Lightning. These are the best practice pads I've ever owned. Prologix makes amazing practice pads! You won't be disappointed.
Quality, but large.
It is a practice pad. A really nice practice pad. It still feels like rubber, as most pads do. Bounce is good, and it is quieter than most of my other practice pads. The rim is a really nice touch and worth the price. Construction is solid and it is heavy enough not to move around. My one complaint, and the reason I knocked off half a star, is the size. I bought the 12" version along with a practice pad stand rated for 12". Turns out the wooden bas of the practice pad is much larger. Almost 14" which means it does not fit on the stand I ordered. If you get this pad, get a real snare stand that will hold 14" drums.
