You get stereo I/O, thanks to two Neutrik combination inputs with low-noise Revolution preamps and stereo outs. Next, onboard Aphex processing and effects ensure that any user delivers a studio-quality sound. This mixer is packed with useful features, too. Six customizable SMART pads trigger sound effects and functions. At the same time, the onboard wireless receiver and Bluetooth connectivity cut down on cabling. Finally, the mixer has two USB-C interfaces, making it compatible with dual-PC setups.
ACK! Should I have bought the Pro2
This mixer does so much that I have barely begun to get to know its capabilities. My use case is a bit outside what Rode may have expected. I'm working on having two audio chains with two HF and VHF/UHV Radio Transceivers being driven by the Rodecaster with audio returns in the the headphone channel using either baseband audio returns or USB audio returns through my MacBook Pro to the Rodecaster. This is all uncharted territory and I am very excited to bring it all together.
