Pro Co Panic Button A/B + Mute Box
Pro Co Panic Button A/B + Mute Box Reviews
Part of what makes live performances so exciting is that you never know what's going to happen. This is doubly true if you're the performer. Be prepared to shut your mic off or send it backstage in an instant, when you're plugged into the Panic Button from Pro Co. Whenever anything goes wrong, the Panic Button lets you get the attention of your roadie, the FOH guy, or other essential personnel, without your request going over the main sound system. By connecting your vocal mic to both the FOH system and an alternate location, you can toggle between the locations you want to send your voice, which means the crowd will never hear you asking for more monitors! Want an instant mute button? Don't connect anything to output B, and you can kill your mic with a toe tap. The show must go on, and the Panic Button lets it go on without the crowd knowing you even had a problem!

Great for use as a volume boost for solo's utilizing 2 channels on your mixer!!
Bomb proof and versatile
This thing is indestructible and way more versatile than expected. The dip switches allow you to customize the switch functions for a variety of uses and the ability to run it off pedal board power, the included adapter, or a 9V battery is a nice plus since our dedicated vocalist doesn't have a pedal board. Like others have mentioned there's no pop, or other noise, when the switch is engaged. Plus, it says "Panic Button" on it, which is super appropriate for a talk back mic.
Audible pops in line
It would be a great solution for muting and line output switching, except it has a quite audible pop in the audio signal when pressing the switch. This happened for me on both battery and AC power. Might be fine for louder live music but I'm looking for something that I can silently mute my instrument to tune during ensemble performances, during even the quiet moments.
Built like a tank!
Works great and silent! Don't forget to read that manual! There is dip switches inside the pedal.
Exactly what I needed
Singer of a band here. I love being able to switch to the bands in ears and make changes or tell jokes in the middle of a song. This pedal is exactly what I was looking for.
Fantastic tool for live settings
We have been using this for a couple of years as a tool for the worship leader/producer to talk to anyone that has ears in during the service. GREAT tool!
A Life Saver On Stage
This pedal has been exactly what I"ve been needing. It gives me the ability to seamlessly and discretely communicate with the rest of the musicians on stage. I use a condenser vocal mic and the switching is dead quiet and pop free. This is a must have for anyone needing a talkback line.
Great Pedal for what I need
Easy to set up. Easy to use. No complaints. I use this pedal to send my mic signal to a separate channel that only my band can hear. Helps on stage communication. Good quality pedal for what I need.
Great tool!
I love the Panic Button. I'm a worship leader and we do worship a little different at church - we'll spend 15 minutes on one song and play it in various configurations. The Panic Button allows me to communicate with the band and let them know exactly where we're heading - making the fluid and often unpredictable nature of our worship times much easier to navigate!
Fantastic tool for live looping artists
Great Device
This is perfect for me because I need the ability to talk primarily to the band during music, but also lead the congregation. I can easily switch back and forth between the inputs. Perfect for our needs!
House of Worship - Improves Communication
Awesome Product!
I love the Panic Button and what it allows me to do. I am a music director at a church in Austin Texas and this bad boy allows me to communicate to the band as well as singing and leading songs.
The A/B switch is just what we needed. The only small thing is that when switching to the B channel there is some small unwanted fuzz. I will try and tweak that signal but, other than that this works flawlessly. One small hiccup I had setting up was the instructions and the diagram showing the dip switches. It was kind of confusing but, with some trial and error I found what I needed.
The only thing that works
For communication between team members in harp and bowl worship, the panic button excels. As a chorus is developed by a team member but they are unsure of the musical component, they switch with the button to communicate the short chorus to the worship leader who then develops the new chorus to sing. No pops when switching, works great!
